practitioner Ben Still

  • My journey into healing began in 2019, during an initiatory period of solo travel that led me to a profound spiritual emergence. It was in those quiet, solitary moments that I felt a deep calling to explore the world of energy, ecology, and consciousness which became the foundation of my work today.

As part of this path, I spent eight weeks in South India, immersed in the teachings of Iyengar Yoga. As well as studying permaculture at Shunya Farm in Bir, and basic energy healing at the Maa Asho Institute.

Alongside my healing practice and study, I co-founded Loop:Frome CIC, a community composting initiative dedicated to improving local soil health and fostering a more sustainable, circular economy. It's a project close to my heart, rooted in my belief that small, local actions can lead to significant, positive change.

Currently, I serve as an Independent Town Councillor in Frome, where I advocate for localism, community engagement, and systemic change.

In my writing, I explore ideas around consciousness, holistic science, imagination, process philosophy, and depth psychology. These topics allow me to dive into the deeper mysteries of existence and reflect on how we can live more consciously in a rapidly changing world.

Above all, I’m a proud father to two wonderful boys, Nāda and Milo, who continue to challenge, teach, and inspire me every day

  • My healing journey has been deeply enriched by several years of dedicated study and training, each of which has contributed to the holistic approach I offer today.

I spent two transformative years training in Shamanic Healing with Jay and Kestrel Oakwood, directors of the Bridget Healing Centre in Glastonbury. Their teachings helped me reconnect with the ancient wisdom of the earth and the world of spirit, guiding me to a deeper understanding of energy and the living world.

Alongside this, I’ve spent three years studying at the School of Intuitive Herbalism in Stroud, under the guidance of Herbalist Nathaniel Hughes. This training has been a journey of deepening my connection to plants and learning to work intuitively with the natural world, where I continue to grow and evolve as an apprentice.

In addition to these studies, I have explored courses in subtle bodywork and Reiki, where I’ve learned how to tune into the energetic fields of the body and support the flow of healing energy.

These studies have allowed me to weave together a rich tapestry of modalities and doorways, which I bring into my work with clients.

I am grateful to the teachers, mentors, and traditions that have supported my growth along the way.

  • Seeking Case Studies: Donation-Based Healing Sessions

As I continue to grow and deepen my practice, I’m currently seeking individuals open to working with me as part of my journey.

I’m offering sessions on a donation basis, with the intention of honing my skills and learning through real-life experience.

I create a heart-centered, compassionate space where you can feel seen and supported. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or simply want to explore healing, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Your participation would mean a great deal to me as I continue to grow in service to others.
